Sintered porous metal bearings are powder metallurgical parts, the
starting materials are obviously metal powder. The metal powder used are
specifically produced to give flow and compacting characteristic and at
the same time ensure best mechanical strength, grade or porosity for
oil retention and self lubrication in its finished form. Sequence of
production: • Forming (or compacting) • Sintering • Sizing • Oil
Impregnation Material (as per IS: 3980 : 1982): • Sintered Bronze • Iron
Sintered Range: Plain & flanged bushes, self aligned bushes, solid
rod, plate and different profile components as per drawings / samples.
Applications: • Sintered bronze bushes are used for high speed
application (up to 18000 rpm) • Iron Sintered bushes are used for speed
(up to 3000 rpm).
