HIPS and HIPPS,a common feature and a superior alternative to the mechanical protective devices in oil and gas industry. HIPPS Skids are reliable system that provides safeguard to the health and safety hazards arising from the catastrophic release of flammable, toxic, and explosive chemicals due to the unplanned over-pressurization resulting in flaring and venting.High integrity protection system skids (HIPS Skids) is a barricade between the low-pressure and high-pressure areas in the system allowing for safely shutting off before a high-level event in the system exceeding the design parameters.
